Gulf Coast Distribution

One-Day Cold-Chain Delivery to Houston Receivers

Houston receivers run mixed programs across retail distribution, foodservice and the independent grocery trade, so a load that arrives uneven creates a problem in three channels at once. We harvest, field-bin and pack at our own operation in Edinburg, Texas, then load refrigerated full truckloads that run up US 59 and I-45 into Houston, Pasadena and the western suburbs. That is one day of transit, one company from field to dock, and one traceability record covering the entire trip. No broker sits between your buyer and the harvest crew.

A Growing Calendar Built Around the Gaps

A watermelon program that runs five months and then goes dark is not a program, it is a promotion. We plan the growing calendar as a single rotation instead, and two harvest windows carry Houston through the full year:

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order for Houston delivery?
One full truckload. We load FTL refrigerated freight only, which keeps the cold chain unbroken from our dock to yours. Tell us the volume and pack requirement and we will confirm what is available from the region currently in harvest.
How long does delivery to Houston take?
Houston is a one-day transit from our Texas loading docks. Loads leave the Rio Grande Valley refrigerated and arrive on a booked dock appointment, with the harvest lot documented before the truck departs.
How do you handle traceability and recalls?
Every load carries a record from the field through field-binning, packing and dispatch, and we comply with FSMA Rule 204 traceability requirements. Our recall program is built to respond in under two hours, so a lot can be identified and isolated without waiting on a third party.
